Classes offered include Theatre Arts, Stagecraft, Costume Design, and Encore Company--a production troupe which produces four main stage shows during the school year, including musicals. P romoting excellence and professionalism in theatre performance, these classes challenge students with interest in acting, set design and construction, lighting and sound design, costuming and makeup. Current students are encouraged to get involved, and everyone is invited to see the shows and support the arts at Mountain High School. Encore Company’s final production of the 20-21 season is And Then There Was One , a spoof by Michael Druce based on the famous mystery by Agatha Christie. This comedy is filled with hilarious sight gags and dialogue while ten people are brought together by mysterious invitation to the Reef Mansion on a tiny, isolated island. Not one of them knows the host, who is nowhere to be found. Still, he has left an ominous recording that bodes evil for the guests. Like the chocolate soldiers that inexplicably disappear from the mantle, the guests begin to die one by one. Luckily, Inspector Miles is among the guests, but even he is stumped as to who the murderer could be. As the guests begin to reappear in the final scene, we discover the farcical twist!
